Ideal for the couple who has done all the planning and needs someone to ensure everything runs smoothly on their special day allowing them to be guests at their own wedding, includes:
- Personal Wedding Day Director
- One additional Affairs of the Heart staff member (additional staff members determined by final guest count- at no additional charge)
- A two hour consultation to review your wedding details and contracts with our designer and Wedding Day Director
- Access to one of Affairs of the Heart
Bridal Consultants or you
r Wedding Day Director for advice via telephone or
e-mail. - Creation of a wedding time line, detailed checklists and contact sheets
- A one hour walk through and finalization meeting with your reception venue
- Confirm details with each wedding professional the week of the wedding
- Coordination of Wedding Rehearsal by your Wedding Day Director
- ‘Check in’ calls to bride and groom on the Wedding Day
- Provide detailed schedule and time line for both the bride and groom, as well as vendors and other key players for the actual day of the wedding
- Confirm possession of wedding rings prior to leaving for ceremony
- Wedding ceremony coordination (consisting of two hours), typically including:
o Organization and set up of ceremony
o Distribution of flowers to bridal party and family
o Line-up bridal party and family processional
o Cue/orchestrate wedding professionals for ceremony
- Reception coordination (consisting of five hours), typically including:
o Set out guest books, journaling pages, place cards, favors, toasting goblets, etc.
o Maintain and coordinate time line for all events during reception
o Cue bride and groom, bridal party and parents for special events
o Assist with gifts and personal items at the end of the event
- Be present and available through the wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly
- Act as a liaison between the wedding party and the vendors to ensure great communication
- Wedding Day Emergency Kit
- Attend to guests special needs
- Deliver final payments and gratuities to wedding professionals
- Ensure the newlyweds have a perfect day!
Wedding Day Package beginning at $1,800.00
Individual services may be added as
needed to the Wedding Day Package to fit the couple’s individual needs.
Wedding Day Package includes travel to meetings, rehearsal and ceremony within one hour of Hoboken, New Jersey. Travel fees beyond that distance will be based on distance from Hoboken, New Jersey and package selected.
This package is for the couple that has made a valiant effort at planning various details of their wedding but needs some guidance etiquette, design organization, budget planning, referrals of experienced wedding professionals, handling any unexpected developments/crisis, and bringing together the events leading up to this special day in your life. This will allow you to focus on enjoying your engagement and preparing for your special day.
Services include, but are not limited to:
- Infinite access to Affairs of the Heart bridal consultants via e-mail and telephone
- Support with the overall theme for the wedding by assisting you in selecting details that will reflect your styles and personalities, as well as bring décor and color schemes
- A personalized wedding budget and planning calendar
- Continuing advice on budget etiquette and Wedding Day activities
- Assistance in locating ceremony and reception sites, including visiting prospective sites
- Recommendations of top wedding professionals, selected to fit your specific needs, taste, personalities and budget. This includes, but is not limited to, photographer, videographer, florist, baker, music and lighting services and transportation
- Attendance at meetings with selected wedding professionals
- Assistance with scheduling appointments with wedding professionals on your behalf
- Contract review and negotiation
- Assistance with assembling an ensemble of stationary such as: save the date cards, invitations, menu cards, table cards, escort cards and thank you card notes- including assistance with etiquette questions, wording and layout (additional fee for processing, proofreading and stuffing invitations)
- Assistance with menu selection and attendance at final tasting
- Confirmation of all wedding professionals prior to your wedding
- Assistance in making accommodations
for out of town guests
- Ideas for designing gift bags for out of town guests
- Assistance organizing and coordinating the wedding rehearsal and dinner
- Set up a personalized website featuring the bride and groom
- Assistance with reception room layout and set up

Platinum Package beginning at $3,000.00
This is the ideal package for the couple who simply does not have the time or the desire to deal with all of the details.
Designed to offer you the highest assistance, with the least amount of stress. Just dream your dreams…and maybe pick your favorites from a selection of the best wedding professionals and services, pre-screened for your taste and personalities.
Please contact Ivette for a quote, as pricing for this package not only includes unlimited consultations but in many cases will include a larger number of guests, multiple events, intensive décor installations, site design, lighting and tenting.
We can design and bring together local
destination weddings, at a secluded bed and breakfast, resort, private
estate
or a beach wedding down the Jersey Shores.
Also available for destination wedding planning in other regions of the United States and the Caribbean, including but not limited to Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

Discuss your visions and dreams with a bridal consultant who will then customize and provide you with either:

Start Up Assistance is $250.00
Affairs of the Heart offers “a la carte” assistance that may include budget planning, brainstorming sessions, etiquette situations, family issues, time lines, contract assistance. If you cannot handle a last-minute crisis or just need a little extra support and information, allow us to assist.
Cost
is $100.00 per hour (3 hour minimum)
Commitment Ceremonies and Civil Unions
Affairs of the Heart will plan and coordinate Commitment Ceremonies and Civil Unions for same-sex couples.
For our couples residing in New Jersey or New York, we are happy to assist you with filing for a license for a Civil Union, and for couples residing in states where Civil Unions are not recognized, we are pleased to refer you to attorneys who can provide you with the necessary documents to protect yourselves as a couple.
